Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wahoo Kickr I am a triathlete who purchased the wahoo Kickr a few weeks ago. Cycling is not my forte and I decided after months a research to go for this unit. It is well built', easy to set up and works great with Zwift. thinking of using it all year round as I can see that you can really Taylor your training. Looking forward to my progresses.... A French Wahooligan :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks almost new, worth every penny. Picked this up the day after xmas for $650! Have put 1000 miles on it so far with 0 issues. I had a snap and loved it just wanted a wheel off trainer. only thing that bothers me is I still have to do daily spin downs to get the power more accurate which wahoo says is not needed. Well I disagree. Not annig deal though. Power seems to be about 20-30watts higher than my stages.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service, works like new Got the wrong cassette with my trainer, they send me one quickly, trainer works like new

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've had it for. Few weeks now and I love it! It's hard for me to say the word "Love". It's even harder for me to say "I love" anything in a relatively short time frame. I Love the Kickr. Set up was easy. Calibration was easy. Set-up was easy. Training is not real-life but it's as close as to it as I've had this far. Workouts are as intense; if not harder than outdoor training. If this continues I'll be Uber happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun to be inside for once I have been a cyclist for over 40 years. I'm aware of the value of indoor training and have owned other trainers in the past. Never once have I actually enjoyed indoor training. However the Kicker power trainer with its blue tooth capabilities, along with the fact that I don't have to burn through tires anymore has totally changed the game for me. I've had this thing for about 2 months and have used it more in that time than I've used any trainer in the last couple of years. Normally a bit pricey, I got a great deal, which is why I pulled the trigger and purchased one. Out side of bike purchases, this has been my best decision.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Original Kickr is still awesome Great products and better customer service. Just take my money. Thanks Wahoo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! No problems with the reconditioned Kickr. The cadence sensor was left out but with one email customer service took care of this and shipped the sensor right out. Customer service was quick and easy :) I use the Kickr with Zwift and I have really enjoyed it. I was a little concerned about the noise level as this is one of the big changes in the newer version. However I can say the original version I received is not loud at all. I'm not sure if any mods were done during the reconditioning but I can say the noise level is low on the one I received.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was an awesome deal!!! Scored me a first gen Kickr for the price of a wheel-on trainer, and I love it! The Kickr has totally changed my Zwift experience for the better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TRIMP experience Wahoo Fitness Thanks for asking about my opinions and experiences since I bought the product twenty days ago. I want to tell you that each workout with the athletes has been really good. They seem to be happy with this new and excelent strategy of training and also I am very glad as a coach with the results and opportunities that it has allowed to us. The kickr has brought me a lot of opportunities to do a workout closer to reality. In my company I have been used it to do stress test and the results has been extraordinary. I just want to suggest to improve the application of an option of doing intervals and let them scheduled. I can recommend this product to other shoppers that may be interested in sports process that play an important role as a complement of the training and allow atheletes knowing more about their development. Thanks again. Sincerely, TRIMP

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps me honest! I bought this trainer after hearing it mentioned many times on the Trainer Road podcast. I had also heard of it through the Knights and Dames of Sufferlandria. The biggest bonus for me is that it keeps me honest! There is no more dropping my power by 10 watts and coasting because I'm tired. My training plan dictates the power and the Kickr makes me do it - just like in real life on the road, no cheating allowed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Cat's Pajamas of Trainers Just 6 months ago, I would've thought that purchasing a cycling trainer that costs $1k would've meant I had gone completely insane. However, once I learned about the Wahoo Kickr and saw what it could do with Zwift, I had to have one. Here in Wisconsin, I can only get about 6 good months of riding in and the rest is typically indoors. Therefore, I reasoned with myself that spending as much on a trainer as I would on a bike is a worthy investment if it helps keep me in shape through the winter. In the 4 months I've owned the Kickr, I love it. The first thing I noticed when I got it is that it's a well built trainer. It feels solid and looks well made, right down to the blue anodized aluminum parts and quality welds. I've been using the Kickr with Zwift from the day I got it, and the combination if the two has not only helped keep my riding this winter, I actually WANT to ride indoors! The Kickr has been able to take all the abuse I've been able to dish-out. The fact that it weighs a lot helps keep the trainer planted during sprints. One of the best features of the trainer is that I'm not wearing-out a tire while training, which also means that there's absolutely none of the tire slip that is often associated with trainers that do use a tire. I only use the Wahoo Fitness software for spindown calibration and firmware updates, but it seems simple enough to use. Overall, I'm completely happy with my investment in the Wahoo Kickr, especially now that the pain in the wallet is far in my past! The only feature I wish Wahoo would come-out with someday is a Wahoo Fitness app for Windows 10.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wahoo Kickr - the only way to train My Wahoo Certified Reconditioned KICKR was better than that as to my untrained eye it looked brand spanking new. Those of you who either ride outdoors or not all like me pre-KICKR really ought to try out one of these. Close call which is now better inside training or outside riding. What a workout! Built like a tank, runs like clock (actually more like a fine time piece). Customer Service is outstanding too. It just doesn't get any better than this. I can only say I wish I would have bought a KICKR long ago. George

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks PERFECT Wahoo shipping conformation was within hours of placing the order. The unit arrived looking brand new. At best, the owners manual might have been folded. Oh Gosh! 6 workouts later. I'm getting use to what watts are. I know cadence. Found myself glancing at the data on my phone and thinking my heart rate can't be just 106! Then realized that was my cadence, and it felt comfortable, stable. Pig tail for the power could be a few inches longer. Find myself bumping into the chain plugging it in. I understand if it's longer, it might catch on something when folded up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product Everything worked flawlessly. Unit was easy to set up and use. Connections were easy with the wahoo fitness app. Very pleased with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works well I initially had some difficulty pairing the device. The power output would show up sporadically, but no speed reading. Once I deleted the pairing and redid it, it worked well. I think more info on how to use it would be helpful, such as guides to use the different apps. Perhaps that is already available and I haven't found it yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good as New My reconditioned trainer arrived promptly and packaged perfectly for shipping. So far it is performing very well. Very glad I opt'd for the reconditioned model as that was much more budget friendly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great machine! I wanted a direct drive cycling trainer for a long time but the high price was always holding me back. The refurbished kickr I got looked brand new and I absolutely love the machine. Only downside: it was more noisy than I expected. But still: great buy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value smart trainer Got a great deal on the kickr original on a flash sale. Fun way to get through the winter months and break up the monotony of spinning for hours indoors. Have had a few instances where the power would increase erratically for bit then settle back to where it should be. Also, the included cadence sensor is quite inconsistent. Otherwise, a great purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome ' I bought this less then a month ago. It has brought winter training to another level. It's the perfect trainer for the winter months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wahoo Fitness - Kickr Purchased a refurbished unit to save a few $$. Out of the box there were some issues to be addressed: 10spd cassette was not properly installed (missing spacer) and was only finger tight. The lesson here is MAKE SURE YOU CHECK EVERYTHING before your first ride. Local bike shop helped address the issue, and have been happy using the product since.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Reconditioned, really? Unit arrived in 1 day. I live near Atlanta. Packing was OK. Cord and manual were just stuffed into the box. Unit itself was not bagged. Firmware was way out of date. Belt was too tight and very noisy. What Shhh? Updated the firmware and backed off the belt tension until with steady load the unit was fairly quiet. Still the design is antiquated. A wider flat belt would be dead quiet. Wahoo, go check out a Kaiser spin bike.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Was good when purchased Bought 2mo ago went bad high pitched squealking noise returned to store puchased wahoo said we will try to repair it. Should have been given new one. Not impressed at all. Very pessimistic about receiving good machine back. Not pleased at all

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Initial problems I bought this product a month ago. The problem is that did not function properly at the beginning. My watts was all over the place. I contacted the support but it took a couple of days and a phone call the solve the problem. The watts are still much lower (-29-30 watts when I push over my FTP) than those measured by my Stages power meter. I can train with it but I don't rely on it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Product and even worse service Purchased this for my wife. She is 110lbs and has an ftp of 120. She started doing workouts on Trainerroad and whenever the workout called for watts at or below about 100 watts, the trainer (in Erg Mode) stopped producing the watts prescribed by the workout. Basically if the she was supposed to do 60 watts (typically as a recovery) for 3 minutes, then the trainer wouldn't restrict the work to 60 watts but would rather bounce between 70 watts and 96 watts. Obviously bad if you are trying to recovery between interval sets. I called customer service and was told simply the trainer doesn't work below 100 watts and no solution was offered. I asked if they could give me a discount on a current generation kickr and was repeatedly told no. So to sum it up...the tech informed me the product doesn't work below 100 watts and then offered no solution. "So basically your product doesn't work and there is no solution." The tech then confirmed this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Highly disappointed! I was very excited when I ordered the trainer and thought I could trust Wahoo selling me a certified reconditioned Power Trainer. Unfortunately, 5 months in, I just received my second replacement (third Kickr overall) and this is not working properly either. Instead it is making weird humming noises I did not hear when riding the last two Kickrs or when comparing to videos on the internet. The service really tries to help but it is annoying having to exchange the trainer every few weeks. If nothing changes, I would not recommend buying a recertified trainer at all. Maybe not even buy a Wahoo Kickr again at all. Highly disappointed at the moment!
