2009: ANT+ KEY

Before the world was awash in fitness trackers and training apps, there was a humble guy in Atlanta with a love of sport and a knack for problem solving. He was frustrated by the technology available and set out to find a better way to track, measure and share his training results. Thus, ANT+ Key was born; a way to connect heart rate monitors & cycling sensors to your iPhone. As competitors followed suit, Chip continued on problem solving around the sports he loved and invited people like him to hop aboard.

2014: KICKR

Along the way, they invented the way cyclists train indoors with the KICKR Smart Trainer. Once the word was out that you could control your trainer with your laptop, tablet or smartphone, a revolution ignited. As the space started to crowd, Chip just told everyone to relax and keep innovating.

2015: ELEMNT

They did. The result was ELEMNT - a radically simplified approach to cycling computers. Cyclists were stoked. Chip and team were already working on improvements and the next project.

That next project turned into an unparalleled indoor riding experience; an ecosystem of hardware to truly replicate outdoor riding with an immersive, engaging indoor set up. Not only have we created the indoor training category, but we’ve made it fun and immersive along the way.

If we could revolutionize indoor trainers, Chip knew he could take on stationary bikes. And that is just what we did. KICKR BIKE transformed indoor bikes to replicate your outdoor rig and ride feel like no other. With the best hardware on the market, we knew we’d just begun to scratch the surface in giving athletes the best tools to reach their goals.

In order to be the best, you must train with the best. In July 2019, The Sufferfest training platform became a part of the Wahoo family. Their holistic approach towards training and sports-science based workouts fell right in line with our mission to build the better athlete in all of us.

We are a group of individuals aspiring for greatness in everything we do. Passionate, free thinkers, and self starters who thrive in a casual, fun work environment.

We believe bikes make the world a better place and tough goals make us better people. We are constantly striving to make a greater impact on one another and the communities we touch.

An open invitation to all. If you are willing to get your hands dirty, think outside the box, and work as hard as you play, we want you to be the next Wahooligan. Being an endurance sports junkie is not part of the criteria, we just look for passion and excellence in everything we do. Explore our open positions and reach out if you think you’d be a good fit.
